The Blue Diamonds were an Indo (Dutch-Indonesian) duo consisting of brothers Ruud and Riem de Wolff. Formed in 1949, the Blue Diamonds rose to popularity in 1960 with their up-tempo cover of the 1928 song “Ramona,” which was recorded in several languages and topped the Dutch and German charts. “Ramona” even reached #72 on the Billboard Hot 100. The duo was often dubbed “The Dutch Everly Brothers” after covering many of their hits. This video features the Blue Diamonds’ 1960 covers of two Everly Brothers tunes: “Cathy’s Clown” and “Till I Kissed You”
