My boyfriend recently gave me a very beautiful and expensive diamond ring, for my right hand. We are not engaged and when I asked him if it meant anything he just winked and said I’d have to find out for myself. Help me out!

November 21st, 2011I have a diamond ring that has the following stamped inside it:
14k with 585 underneath it (understand that means its gold content is 585 out of 1000)
then opposite of that there is a small symbol, it looks like an image if a diamond engagement ring, but drawn so that the ring portion resembles an open infinity sign, and then has a number underneath it “D045″ Someone once told me the symbol may be a manufacturer’s mark.. Any one have an idea as to who manufactured this ring?

November 15th, 2011I’ve been married for 15 years and have a beautiful diamond engagement ring. I want to leave it at a jeweler for cleaning and inspection. However, I know nothing about diamonds, and it occurred to me that it would be really easy for someone to switch diamonds on me without my knowledge. Is this a legitimate concern, or should I just trust a reputable jeweler? And suggestions?
What book is this? (It has clues to find diamond rings)?
November 14th, 2011Like 4-5 years ago, an author came to our school (fourth or fifth grade, i think) to tell us about his book. I don’t remember the name. Just some random facts.
It had clues to finding diamond rings supposedly hidden around the world.
It was big, not standard book size.
Some of the writing could be read upside down to say something else.
There were at least two books.
At the back of the book, there was a spell book. It said Light Spells Light, and upside down it spelled Dark Spells Dark.
I remember it was about a man, his wife was an elf, and his dog was part moth.
The house was alive? I think
There were fairies, like normal nice ones, and some other creatures that were like evil fairies
There was one page that you could hold up to the light to reveal more letters.
And evil fairy stole the spell book.
One of the spell book pages had just random symbols like moons.
Anyone know what it is called?
