I just got my girlfriend a diamond ring. I want to propose tonight. I’m petrified now because i just noticed a slight white inclusion in the diamond. It was graded SI3 but now i’m worried. do diamonds typically have a little something visible or do most people have a flawless jewel?
Are diamond rings usually flawless? Do you have any inclusions?

mine is not the brightest diamond (its like a step below, i cant remember the fancy jewelery scale right now) you can get but there are absolutely no visable inclusions
dont stress too hard. absolutely perfect diamonds can be tricky to find, and as long as she likes the ring and loves you, thats all that REALLY matters
good luck dude i hope you get a big “YES!!”
a flawless diamond is not common. they are hugely expensive and are hard to come by. give her the ring—— she’ll love it.
Don’t worry. A diamond is a diamond, whatever faults it may have. She will likely not notice, and even if she did, what would that matter if she loves you? The ring is a token of your love for her, and also a promise of forever. A small inclusion won’t matter. The diamond will still be beautiful, and sparkly, due to a physical property of diamonds that traps light inside, bouncing against the inside walls until it escapes. If I were in her place, I wouldn’t mind a bit. Though a diamond ring is traditional, he could wrap a string around my finger for all I care, because I would care about him more than the ring. Though a diamond ring would be nice.
